Delicious Raw ManGogi Smoothie ♥

Here is a quick and yummy smoothie that will give you a great boost of vitamin C, Iron, and beta carotene.

You will need:

1 handful of baby Spinach

1 cup of mango cubes( I like to use frozen)
1 tsp Wheat grass powder
1 tbsp of Gogi Berries
1 tsp Gogi Powder (Nativas)
1 Cup Almond Mile
.5 Cup Water
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 scoop of Vanilla SunWarrior Protein Powder


Put all you Raw Ingredients in the blender, Mix, Pour & Enjoy!

Mango ♥ Papaya Smoothie

The other day I was in my local market and say these beautiful Papaya's. So I decided to pick one up and make some delicious foods. Once being this tropical smoothie. This was a great post work-out smoothie. Mind you this was on the sweeter side, but I don't mind that at all. :-)

Did you know:
  • Papaya seeds can be used as a black pepper alternative
  • Papaya tastes great with curry!
  • Papaya Has enzymes that aide in breaking down protein fibers, which means you can use it as a tenderizer.
  • Papaya soothes Digestion
  • Papaya also contains two powerful enzymes papain and chymopapain which help speed up healing.
 Now this is one great fruit!

Blend:
1 Cup Raw Chopped Papaya
3/4 Cup Frozen Mango
1 cup Almond Milk
1.5 Scoop Whey Protein
1 Tbsp Milled Flax Seeds
1 tsp Goji Powder

Blend until smooth, then pout and enjoy!

Good Day readers. This beautiful Juice is so great for you and taste amazing too. Here are some quick facts on the ingredients:

1. Beets
  • Rich in vitamins A and C, niacin, pantothenic acid and vitamin K .
  • Contains great minerals: sodium, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, sodium, zinc, copper and selenium.
  • Great for the Heart, bones, connective tissue, and healthy brain function.
2. Carrots
  •  High in vitamin A and carotenoids.
  • The fat-soluble carotenoids are powerful antioxidants that studies show can protect against cardiovascular disease.
  • one carrot a day could cut the risk of lung cancer in half.
3. Cilantro
  • rich in antioxidants and many of the minerals are necessary for proper bodily functions. 
  •  9 sprigs or 20 g of cilantro provides 104 mg potassium, which aids in regulating blood pressure and it has 13 mg calcium and 62 mcg vitamin K, which helps maintain strong bones.

Berry Nice Post Work Out Smoothie

This delicious Smoothie is a great way to get your antioxidants, fiber, protein, and greens. This tummy Flattener will taste great and make your feel amazing. This is a great post-work out smoothie because of the fast absorbing properties of the Whey protein, the carbohydrates in the yogurt, the insulin in the berries, and the Rich vitamins in Kale. 




In a Blender Add:
1 Scoop of Vanilla Whey Protein (your choice)
1/3 Cup blueberries
1/2 Cup Organic Strawberries
1 Cup Water
1 Cup of Kale
1/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
1tbsp Agave, or Coconut Nectar



This smoothie yields a large serving of 32 oz! Needless to say I was FULL after this. It only has 247 Calories, 2.6 g of Fat, 27 g Carbs, 34 g Protein, 4g Fiber! Bottoms up and Enjoy

Mango ♦ Drangonfruit Smoothie

I recently bought 2 beautiful dragon fruits during a recent haul at H-Mart.
p.s. If you don't know about this market, find one ASAP.

I was pressed for time this morning and needed something quick for breakfast. This was so delicious it tasted like a tropical ice cream. No lie. I had to step back from the glass and just look at it, because I was amazed at how decadent this baby tasted.

Blend:
1/2 cup frozen Mango
1/2 frozen Dragon fruit
1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 scoop Whey Protein(I like Twin lab Vanilla)
1 tsp wheat grass powder
1 tsp Agave
1 tsp Goji Powder
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
 
Pour into your favorite glass, obviously I love Jars.

Enthusiastic Orange Carrot Juice

Who doesn't love the vibrant color Orange?
It's a power and healing color. It stimulates enthusiasm and creative. I know because every time I make this juice I feel excited and revived. My Stomach also feels great afterwards. 

This juice isn't just beautiful, it also gives you an amazing dose of beta-carotene, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Increase absorption of all the nutrients(ginger) and make you feel Happy!Well enough of the talk, here's how you make this beauty:

Juiced carrots contain beta carotene and large amounts of vitamin A, and nourish the blood. Carrot juice also acts as a sweetener.
 

Ginger Orange Carrot Juice  
1 pound of carrots (organic if possible)
1 inch piece of fresh ginger
1 orange, peeled
1 lemon, peeled
Juice all ingredients and enjoy immediately!

Feeling Down?...Power with Green Juice

I woke up this morning not feeling like myself. Even after my cardio work-out I still felt off. So I decided to Make an energized Juice.

You will need:
2 Green apples
6 Kale Stalks
1/2 bunch of Cilantro
1 handful of spinach
1 cucumber
1 knob of ginger
1/2 lemon
pinch of cayenne

I have a Breville and I add all the ingredients and juice. I like to use cold vegetables to avoid ice. The cilantro gives a nice palette refreshing feeling and awakens the senses.

Detox for a better Tomorrow

This Detox will give you the kick-start or re-boot that you need. I like to do it anytime I feel as though my mind is cloudy or my body I holding on to some sludge.

You will need:
5 Limes
1/2  pineapple
1/4 cup Agave..or to taste
1/2 tsp Cayenne powder (extract is better if you can find it)
30 oz Spring Water


Directions:
Juice the Limes and Pineapple and then mix with all the other ingredients. Sip throughout the day, and eel free to make a new Batch if you can. I use this as a morning or evening fast to get my mind clear and blood charged up. Give it a try. 






Dragon Fruit Smoothie

I absolutely Love Smoothies, and I love dragon fruit. Too bad it's so hard to find in my area.
This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, some of the main stars are:

Dragon Fruit: This beautiful fruit is a wonder fruit. It has healthy cholesterol, high in fiber, rich in Vitamin C, high varieties of antioxidants ( no supplements needed with this beauty), and the seeds have wonderful Monounsaturated fats. (Mono-Saturated fats prevent heart disease, reduce belly fat, reduced cholesterol levels, etc)


Maqui Powder:  This powder comes from the Chilean maqui berry which is one of the most anti-oxidant rich foods. It is packed full of vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, potassium, and anti-aging components.
Ingredients

Goji Powder: Also rich in antioxidants, know to fight free-radicals, improve overall wellness and health, and packed with beta carotene

Ingredients:
1 Medium  frozen Banana
1 scoop Sun Warrior Vanilla Protein
1tsp Maqui Powder
1tsp Goji powder
1.5 cups Almond Milk
1/2 Dragon fruit
