Are you still in the same old routine? Are you still making the same excuses? Are you still changing the date of when you are going to get healthy? Are you cheating yourself of a better life? Are you still eating in private and making excuse for how you look in public? You probably answered yes to some or all of these.

Pillosophy of the Day: Remove the Clutter from mental space and physical place
"
Never again clutter your days or nights with so
many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real
challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as work. A day
merely survived is no cause for celebration. You are not here to fritter away
your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a
slight change in your routine. No more busy work. No more hiding from success.
Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!
~Og Mandino"
We accumulate so much clutter in our life; from physical
items, to negative memories, people, and junk. I think that a healthy life starts with a clear mind and
space. When my mind and living quarters are clear I feel rejuvenated, light and
free.
My home and my workspace are where I exude peace and
creative energy. Why does their need to be things surrounding my space? Same
for you, why do you have those entire extra ‘things”?
I enjoy meditation, especially during work and when I come
home. On my daily commutes I
reflect and then clear my mind and allow myself to be a vessel for positive
energy. The morning’s I skip this, end up being a stressful day.
*Remember you are behind the wheel of this thing called your
life. Take the time to make it worth your while and enjoyable.
Practice Meditation at home in a quiet space for 5 minutes.
Allow this to be your daily ritual of peace and clarity. Discard all the
Negative BS that you are about to face or have faced that day.
Meditate when you feel a craving for toxic garbage. Speak to
yourself and
At Work:
- Completely clean off your desk piles, and clean your work area.
- Sort your piles in Trash, Delegate, Right now and tomorrow.
- Purge computer files you don’t keep, minimize the icons on your desktop
- Clean out your drawers (when you have the time) and toss out those weird sauce packages, organize loose items
- Alphabetize your folders. Nothing is worse than scrambling for an important document. Talk about Stress.
- Set priorities in order to meet your deadlines.
In your Home:
- Clear out your closet, and remove all those items your are hoping you will fit into one day. You haven’t in a long time, so get rid of it.
- Donate, Donate. Donate. It’s a good selfless act, and there are others in need besides you.
- Set value on your items, do you love it so much you can’t part ways with it? Or can it move into the bucket of over and done with it?
- Set a routine for doing upkeep and chores. Sometimes we make excuses why the house is messy and why we don’t have time to do it.
- The longer you wait…the more likely you will be featured on an episode of Hoarders.
Practice keeping a clear space. Don't fall back into lazy habits and allow your areas to accumulate junk. This increases the feeling of anxiety and makes the flow of creativity less effective. Remember you are in control, and this is your life.

Pillosophy of the Day ♥ You are in Control

For example: You are having your definition of a great day. You feel great from inside out, and you may even have a glow about you. There is always going to be a negative force that will try to disrupt your flow of positive energy.
Now in this exact moment you have the decision to do two things.
1. Deflect
2. Absorb
Usually most of us tend to absorb the surge of negative energy that was harpooned at us and the cycle begins. You are off your center. You start to question the act, you start to question yourself, you take it home, you allow your judgement to be clouded, you may even lash out at an innocent bystander.
Why? If you sit and think about the reason that you have allowed yourself to feel this way, it stems back to the negative catalyst.
So now I will go back to the same scenario and we will choose option 1, Deflect. This option is best, but takes practice to implement. Building a barrier between you and these negative energies is most important. It starts from the moment you wake. Every morning you should practice saying a positive affirmation out loud. Meditate and focus on the positive and pure energies around you. My mother gave me the Desiderata by Max Erhmann in my teen years, and it has been a vital tool for clarity in my life.
Just know, stress is a toxic force and it will destroy your foundation and your health. Remember you are in control of how people make you feel. People are not in control of you. Be at peace my friends and have a wonderful and healthy life.
